Fechner Day 2025

Update: Shortly before the meeting, the venue moved from Porto de Galinhas to Recife, Pernambuco. Fechner Day 2025 took place in Recife on October 20–22, 2025. The original announcement follows.

We are delighted to invite you to the 41st meeting of the International Society for Psychophysics, celebrating Fechner Day 2025. We carefully selected a city that blends productivity with beauty, relaxation, and delicious cuisine.

We hope you enjoy both the conference and your stay in Porto de Galinhas, Pernambuco—a top tourist destination in northeastern Brazil. The town lies about a 1.5-hour drive from Recife Airport, which offers ten weekly direct flights from Lisbon via TAP (approximately seven hours) and three direct flights from Orlando via AZUL Brazilian Airlines (about seven and a half hours). Upon arrival, shuttle service will run on three different schedules between Recife Airport and Porto de Galinhas.
