Due to limits in the maximum number of persons per group allowed in the Library of the University, a schedule for visits had to be arranged, compatible with full attendance to the scientific program. Visits will always start by the Baroc Library, at twenty minutes intervals. Please use this online form to choose one of the following alternatives.

Full-day tour

Visit to Oporto (Portugal’s northern capital): Includes: visit to Ribeira (the historical bulk of Oporto, recently classified by UNESCO as "World Heritage") and some of Oporto’s most significant baroc monuments; visit to Oporto’s wine cellars; lunch at Chez Lapin, at Ribeira; cruise in River Douro (“cruise of the five bridges”, with an approximate duration of 50 minutes). Return to Coimbra around 5 PM.

Rate: 68 euros (lunch included)

Half-day tour

Visit to the remains of the roman town of Conímbriga, 13km south of Coimbra. Includes: guided visit to the town, visit to the monographic museum, lunch at Condeixa (small town near Conímbriga)

Rate: 38,40 euros (lunch included)
